Both the Republican and Democratic candidates in the New York mayoralty elections–Justice Ferdinand Pecora and Edward Corsi–withdrew from participation in the Pulaski Day parade here today, presumably because of the presence of Gen. Wladyslaw Anders, Polish anti-Semitic leader, in the celebration. Acting Mayor Vincent Impellitteri was expected to review the parade. Others, according to officials of the celebration, who said they planned to review the parade include Governor Thomas E. Dewey, and Sen. Herbert H. Lehman.
