The Anglo-Israel air agreement was initialled here Friday by representatives of the British Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Israel legation. Formal signature will take place in the near future.
The agreement provides for normal air services between the two countries, specifying the flying routes and other details. In view of the importance of Lydda Airport for transit between London and the Middle and Far East and of ?den for Israel traffic to America, the agreement is highly welcomed in both British and Israel aviation circles.
