Services commemorating the first anniversary of the death of Dr. Abraham Granott, late president of the Jewish National Fund, were held here tonight at the Jewish Agency auditorium.
Eulogies and tributes to Dr. Granott’s memory were delivered by Moshe Sharett, chairman of the Agency executive; Yaacov Tsur, chairman of the JNF board; and Pinhas Rosen, a member of Parliament. Among those attending the rites were members of Israel’s Cabinet and members of the Supreme Court. Earlier, the widow, Mrs. Miriam Granott, cut the ribbon dedicating a new road, bearing Dr. Granott’s name.
