The American Friends of the Hebrew University today announced the establishment of a $10,000 memorial trust fund at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem by Mrs. Lea Habergrutz in honor of her late husband. Income from the gift will be awarded annually to the author of the best post-graduate dissertation in the field of Hebrew literature.
The American Friends also announced the arrival in the United States of Dr. Kurt Wormann, director of the Hebrew University Library, who will spend four months in this country visiting the libraries and library schools of principal American cities and universities. His itinerary is being arranged by the State Department in cooperation with the American Library Association.
