A three-day annual convention of the Mizrachi organization of America will open on Sunday at the Commodore Hotel here. More than 1,500 delegates from all parts of the country are expected to attend. Dr. Chaim Weizmann, Moshe Shertok, Rabbi Meyer Berlin and other leaders of the world Zionist movement will address the meeting.
The convention, delayed for almost a year by the war, will formulate plans for the rescue of Jews from Europe. Rabbi Berlin, who is president of the world Mizrachi organization, flew from Palestine to America in order to present to the conclave a report on the situation in Palestine.
