William P. Goldberg, another of the civilian employees of the Army Signal Corps at Fort Monmouth suspended on charges of being security risks, has been reinstated, it was announced here yesterday. Mr. Goldberg is the 11th civilian employee thus suspended to be reinstated.
In the original suspensions, which followed a public hearing at the Fort by Sen. Joseph McCarthy, the majority of the civilians involved were Jews. The Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith had requested the Army to investigate whether anti-Semitism was a factor in the affair.
