25 Arabs appeared to-day before the Haifa Land Court to face an action for refusing to leave an area of 600 dunams of land in the Haifa Bay area which has been purchased by Jewish agencies. The Arab Advocate contended that the title deeds of the Jewish agencies to the land are not in proper order, and further that the Arabs refuse to be evicted from this land on which they have been settled for many years.
The case has been adjourned because several of the accused and also several witnesses were not present.
