More than 1,000 Jewish leaders assembled here today from all parts of the country to attend the three-day national conference of the Anti-Defamation League of the B’nai B’rith which opens here tomorrow at Palmer House to discuss problems concerning the fight against anti-Semitism in the United States.
The conference will also hear a report on anti-Semitism in Germany and on the serious issues confronting the American occupation authorities there, it was announced by Supreme Court Justice Meir Steinbrink, national chairman of the League. The report will be delivered at the parley by Benjamin J. Buttenweiser, Deputy U.S. High Commissioner for Germany.
