A drive to raise $2,650,000 toward a national goal of $5,523,900 to fight bigotry and improve human relations was launched by the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith at a dinner here tonight. The event was highlighted by the presentation of the ADL’s 1967 Man of Achievement Award to Thomas W. McMahon, executive vice president of the metropolitan department of the Chase Manhattan Bank. The award, a silver representation of a megillah (Purim scroll), was presented to Mr. McMahon by Dore Schary, national chairman of the ADL. Senator Gale McGee, Democrat of Wyoming, was the principal speaker of the evening.
