Anti-israel Conspirators Are Active in Washington, Dr. Silver Says

The United States policy on Israel was touched upon here tonight by Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, American Zionist leader, at a dinner given in his honor at ZOA House here. “There are those in the United States who would like to take out Israel and the Middle East from the American political arena,” he said. “This would enable manipulators who work against Israel to conduct their activities quietly, and often conspiratorially, in government circles and to have their ways. American Jews, I assure you, will decline to sacrifice their rights as free citizens and will continue to make their voices heard on this great moral issue which is of vital importance not alone to Israel but to the United States as well. They will stand at your side.”
