The Canadian Council of Christians and Jews in Winnipeg, the Diocesan Council of the Anglican Church and the Canadian Jewish Congress made public today a memorandum to the Winnipeg police department on a series of swastika daubings in this city.
The memorandum agreed that the police were determined to act on the problem. The daubings have appeared on synagogues, Jewish communal buildings and Jewish homes in recent months. The daubings have also included direct incitements such as “Juden Raus” letterings.
