Anti-Jewish incidents in Russia became more violent in 2003, according to a new report. The report by the Anti-Defamation League’s Moscow office, released Thursday, said Russia’s federal government has made some positive steps in dealing with anti-Semitism, but lower-level officials still show reluctance to “tackle a deeply entrenched problem in society.” The report is available at www.adl.org.
