Placards bearing the legend that waterfront real estate “Will Not Be Sold To Jews” were found today posted on sections of the beaches of Porto Alegre. Police began an investigation at the request of the Jewish community and said it appeared that the authors might be Germans who settled in Brazil. The Brazilian Jewish Confederation planned to ask intervention by the Federal Government.
