Anti-Semitic vandalism which has broken cut in recent months in Boston, Chicago and New York spread to Connecticut over the week-end. The windows of 100 stores in Hartford’s main shopping district were smeared over with the word “Jew” in large red letters and fifteen places in Bridgeport were similarly defaced. Bridgeport police have arrested three youths responsible for the outrages there.
