A bill asking for the introduction of humane methods in the slaughtering of animals, making no exemption for the schechita, was introduced in the House of Commons by Noel Buxton. Labor M. P., former Minister of Agriculture.

There is little likelihood that the bill will be passed by Commons, it was stated.
