Telesio Interlay, editor of IL Tevere, Italy’s most rabidly anti-Semitic newspaper, was today appointed director of the newly-established Department for Demography and Race Protection in the Ministry of Interior.
Naval Commander Federigo Jarach, president of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities, submitted a memorandum to the Ministry of Interior regarding the current anti-Jewish campaign.
