The deposition of Dr. Herman Badt, Ministerial Director in the Prussian Government, from the post of Prussia’s representative in the Reichsrat, was demanded in a motion introduced by the anti-Semitic Deutschnationate group in the constitutional committee of the Prussian Diet.
Secretary of State Abegg spoke against the motion, declaring, in behalf of the Prussian government, that Dr. Badt is an efficient, valued worker, a splendid jurist and worthy representative of Prussia in the Federal Council. The motion was rejected by a majority vote.
