The Jews in Roumania have no reason to complain of the treatment accorded to them in the country is the assertion made by the “Cuvintoul,” anti-Semitic paper published here.
This assertion was made by the paper in an article headed “The Board’s Protest in Geneva,” dealing with the complaint of the Anglo-Jewish Board of Deputies submitted to the League of Nations on behalf of the Jewish population of Roumania.
Miss Hortense Breckler and Miss Irma May arrived on Friday on the Nieuw Amsterdam from an extensive tour throughout Eastern Europe which they made at the request of David A. Brown, national chairman of the United Jewish Campaign. Miss May was in Eastern Europe last Winter as the special commissioner of the Campaign.
