Appealing for a fight against anti-Semitism, the Charkoff daily, “Proletarian” reports that counter-revolutionary elements are increasing anti-Semitic activities among students in the Charkoff University.

A Jewish student, the paper states, suffered daily beatings in the dormitory at the hands of his fellow students. His health was so shaken that he was advised by physicians to leave the university.

At a special meeting of the executive of the Students’ Organization called to investigate the incident, anti-Semitism was branded as counter revolutionary and students were called upon to combat it.
