A leader of the Christian Mobilizers in the Bronx, Edward Burke, 36, was sentenced to 30 days in the workhouse by Magistrate Peter A. Abeles today on a disorderly conduct charge arising from an anti-Semitic street corner speech made on Aug. 12. Burke, who was convicted of attempted grand larceny in 1926, has been unemployed for six years and his family, including seven children, is supported by the Home Relief Bureau.
