Anti-Semitic books, which were banned by Georges Mandel when he was Minister of the Interior in the Popular Front government appeared today on publishers’ Fall lists as a result of official authorization of such volumes. At the same time Nazi officials announced today that all Jewish publishing firms in Paris have been “Aryanized” or have been handed over to “aryan” administrators.

A summary of the activities of the Paris police prefecture in the last four months, which appears in the Pariser Zeitung today, discloses that “hundreds of Jews and foreigners have been arrested, 600 expelled and 531 houses raided.”
