A considerable stir was caused here when “Hindenburg calendar,” published by the anti-Semitic publishing company, Thiele, appeared here.

The publishers announced that the calendar was approved by Marshal Hindenburg. It contains much Voelkische propaganda, including the assertion that “international Jewry controls Germany.”

The Democratic press observes that Hindenburg was totally unaware that his name was being used for this publication. The papers maintain that the responsibility rests with Hindenburg’s aides.
