Israeli Ambassador Moshe Leshem has complained to the Danish government about anti-Semitic propaganda being handed out at the Soviet trade and industry fair now in Copenhagen.
The Ambassador referred to a booklet entitled. “Zionist Falsehoods,” published by the Soviet press agency Novosti. which was distributed at the fair. He asked the Danish government to intervene with the Soviet Union to withdraw the distribution of such literature.
A Danish Foreign Ministry spokesman expressed surprise that such propaganda was being handed out at a technical fair, but explained his government does not have the policy to control written material at foreign fairs.
