An attempt to set fire to a Copenhagen synagogue is under investigation by the police, it is reported today by the Copenhagen correspondent of the Aftonbladet.
On December 20, the correspondent reports, a bottle of inflammable liquid was hurled through the window of the synagogue causing a small fire which, however, was speedily extinguished. Jewish circles in Denmark believe that the attempted arson is part of the concerted anti-Semitic drive which has intensified since Denmark affixed its signature to the anti-Comintern pact in Berlin recently.
