Leader Makes Admission; Sounds Warning in Moscow ‘Pravda’ (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
A warning to Communist leaders loyal to the Stalin administration not to employ the feeling of anti-Semitism against the opposition which is now being ousted from the party, was sounded in the “Pravda,” the organ of the Soviet government.
Yaroslavsky, one of the secretaries of the Zik, the Central Executive Committee, writing in the “Pravda” states that anti-Semitism is being exploited in the fight of the Communist party against the opposition because the opposition leaders are Jews. He warns against this method, declaring that the Communist party is of an international character, including all nationalities, and should refrain from exploiting anti-Semitism for party ends. Instead, it should fight it wherever it appears among the masses.
