Anti-Semitism no longer poses a great danger in Germany, the president of the nation’s Parliament said during a visit to Israel. At the same time, however, Wolfgang Thierse said xenophobia and racism are on the rise. “They spring from the core of society, from fear, from social and moral uncertainty,” he said.
