With $5,000 raised in advance, Wilkes-Barre begins a campaign Sunday night for the United Jewish Appeal and other causes. Dr. Jacob Billikopf, executive director of the Philadelphia Federation of Jewish Charities, will be the speaker at a mass meeting which will officially open the drive. He will be presented by Dr. Louis M. Levitsky, chairman. Harry Goldberg is co-chairman.
