Approximately 70 ships remained in Israel’s ports as workers continued the eighth day of their slowdown against economic liberalization plans. Labor officials met with port management as the ports operated at 40 percent because of plans to build a private port in Ashdod. A court injunction is preventing a full-fledged strike.
