Representatives of three Arab countries attending a Middle East conference of the International Air Transport Association here walked out of a meeting when an Israel delegate, Mr. Atir, representing El Al, the Israel National Airline, appeared at the meeting.
Egyptian delegates said later that they had agreed to participate in the meeting when they were assured that no Israel delegate would be present. The conference resumed later, with the Israel representative absent. It was understood that the agenda would be rearranged so that the Israel and Arab representatives could attend alternate sessions. The conference is a purely commercial gathering.
