Arab Disorders Claim 85th Jewish Victim

The Arab disorders, now in their twenty-third week, today claimed their eighty-fifth Jewish victim, Yacob Kaferman, who died of wounds suffered two months ago in a Jerusalem bombing.

Arabs laid down a barrage of rifle fire against the Beisan police station. A garage was razed to the ground in the same city. A public works department lorry was waylaid and burned near Tulkarem. Arabs during the night uprooted 1,000 trees at Yagur.

A bomb was thrown and shots fired into the courtyard of a Jewish home for the aged in Jerusalem. No casualties or damages were reported.

The grain store of the Mishmar Haemek settlement was burned down.
