Arab foreign ministers began an emergency meeting at Arab League headquarters in Cairo to assess the escalating tensions between Israel and the Palestinians. A draft resolution obtained by The Associated Press said the 10 ministers will endorse a call for immediate financial support for the Palestinian Authority, the deployment of an international team to monitor Israeli-Palestinian violence and the cutting of all Arab ties with Israel.
