A stormy meeting of Arab leaders with the Mufti as the principal speaker was held here Friday for the purpose of finding means to compel the Palestine government to prohibit the sale of land to Jews, it was learned today.
More than 300 Arabs from all parts of the country attended the meeting, where the Mufti delivered an address painting in black colors the future of the Arabs in Palestine if the sale of land to the Jews in Palestine is not stopped. Other speakers urged the institution of a blacklist of all Arab landowners selling their land to Jews. A recommendation was made to establish public pillories where the names of the Arab land-brokers who deal with Jews would be posted.
