Fuad Effendi Saba, secretary of the disbanded Arab Higher Committee, and Alfred Rock, Arab Christian member of the same committee, have been granted permission to return to Palestine and are expected to arrive shortly. Abbas Hilmi, also a member of the committee, is already in Jerusalem. The committee was outlawed in 1937 following the outbreak of Arab disorders for which it was held responsible by the administration.
