Arab Police Official Kidnapped; Watchman Killed

Police today sought, with no immediate success, Nicholas Faries, Arab member of Palestine’s Criminal Investigation Department, kidnapped with his chauffeur at Yassin near Nablus after trailing bandits and killing one of them.

A terrorist band killed an Arab watchman in the Galilean Jewish colony of Sejera. Tiberias was heavily fired upon, but no casualties were reported.
