The rectors of the University of Cairo and of the American University in Beirut, Lebanon, refused today to accept nomination to the administrative board of the International Association of Universities after Binyamin Mazar president of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, was elected to that 12-man body at the final session here of the Third Congress of the Association. In addition to Professor Mazar, Professors Aryeh Dvoretsky and Robert Bachi represented the Hebrew University at the Congress here which was attended by heads of universities from 61 countries.
