Two explosions caused minor damage to a water reservoir at Kibbutz Beit Nir, near the Jordanian border, early last night, an Israeli spokesman announced here today. The actions, he said, were carried out by members of El Fatah, the Arab sabotage group which is based in Jordan.
Israel formally complained against the action to the Jordan-Israeli Mixed Armistice Commission, holding Jordan responsible for harboring the saboteurs. The army spokesman said that the terrorists had evidently infiltrated into Israel territory in the daytime.
