An Arab, Mohammed Gumber, was under arrest today as one of a gang that murdered Abraham Goluthman, a founder of the Jewish colony of Nahalal, in the hold-up of a motor bus near Tul Karom early this month.
Cumber was seized by a squad of Jerusalem police which was sent to Tul Karem after local police had expressed themselves as afraid to act.
Police, meanwhile, kept a close watch on the movements of the Arab boy scouts, who were reported to be trying to utilize the annual observance of the Nebi Mussa holiday, during which Arabs make pilgrimages to the mythical burial place of Moses, to stage political demonstrations.
