Two Arab thieves were captured in the early hours trying to steal grain from Jewish land in the Wady Havarit area. There were a number of raiders and they were armed, and an Arab watchmen on the Jewish land was shot at and seriously wounded by them. The Jewish settlers drove off the raiders and captured one of them, the other being afterwards caught by the police.
