Resolutions urging the continuation of the Arab boycott against Jewish products were adopted yesterday at an all Palestine conference of Arab traders. The resolutions urged the boycott of the Rutenberg Electric Corporation, the Athlit Salt Works, the Nur Matches factories. Plans were proposed for the establishment of Arab cement and salt works. Those who attended the conference pledged themselves not to sell land to the Jews.
Other resolutions adopted requested the government to establish an agricultural bank and to abolish the tithe system.
Seven Arabs were arrested in Jaffa, charged with carrying on boycott propaganda.
