A mixed commission of Jews and Arabs will leave shortly for Europe on a mission to conduct propaganda in various European countries for Palestine’s products, it was reported today in the Palestine press.
The commission will work in accordance with a plan for the extension of Palestine trade worked out by a committee of three, consisting of a representative of Jews, one of Arabs and one of the Palestine government. The secretary of the commission will be an Englishman.
“The Palestine adverse trade balance must be overcome,” is the slogan under which the commission will conduct its activities. Special efforts will be made by the commission to discover new markets in Europe for Palestine citrus products.
All commercial attaches at the British consulates in various countries were advised by the British government to cooperate with the commission, according to the reports in today’s Palestine press.
