The United Arab Republic has issued an order banning films in which either Eartha Kitt or Edward G. Robinson appear, it was reported here today.
The reason was that the two entertainers had shown “pronounced Israel sympathies and have helped collect contributions for Israel.” A similar action was taken some time ago against Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe.
