Arabs expressed disappointment today at the statement of William Ormsby-Gore, British Colonial Secretary, in the House of Commons today, in which he indicated that there would be no immediate suspension of Jewish immigration into Palestine.

Jewish circles hesitated to express an opinion on the statement until the Colonial Secretary made a definite decision on whether he would suspend immigration.

The Grand Mufti, Haj Amin el Husseini, cabled Shibly Jamal, one of his supporters serving as a member of an unofficial Arab delegation in London, not to leave England until the Royal Commission appointed today to investigate the disorders departs for Palestine.
