Kraus, a policeman who was married two weeks ago, was wounded in Safed Sep. 12. Cornfeld was shot last night in the Manshieh quarter of Jaffa.

The Jewish Agency for Palestine has submitted to the Government a schedule for Jewish labor immigration covering the next six months, it was announced today by Moshe Shertok, head of the agency’s political department. the current labor schedule, which expires this month, called for 1,000 certificates.
