Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

Arab nationalists and anti-Zionists agitators were greatly disturbed over a statement made by Mussa Kazim Pasha of the Palestine Arab Executive, anti-Zionist body, in a recent interview with the correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.

In that interview Kazim Pasha declared “we do not intend to infringe upon Great Britain’s international undertakings.” from which the inference may be drawn that the Arabs are willing to recognize the Palestine mandate and the Balfour Declaration.

Since the publication of this interview a fortnight ago the Palestine Arab press is storming the leader of the Arab Executive, urging him to deny his statement. On the other hand, the Palestine Hebrew press sees, in the interview, in which the Arab leader attempted to allay the fears of Palestine Jews in case a representative government is granted to Palestine, a confirmation of the danger that is involved for Palestine if a parliament is created.
