The Archbishop of Canterbury will address a large mass-meeting here on October 29 to protest Nazi atrocities against the Jews, it was announced today by Prof. Selig Brodetsky, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, addressing a meeting of that body.
At the same time Prof. Brodetsky paid tribute to individuals and organizations throughout Europe who have refused to accede to Nazi pressure and have continued to fight anti-Semitism. he especially lauded the King of Denmark, the Catholic Church and the French, Dutch and other people. The Board adopted a resolution expressing horror at the Nazi extermination of the Jews in occupied lands and expressed gratitude to those who have protested against these atrocities.
