Argentina’s Minister to Israel, Dr. Pablo Manguel, arrived at Lydda airport last night where he was met by the deputy chief of protocol and Jacob Neviaski, secretary of the Argentine legation.
The Buenos Aires envoy said that friendly relations between Israel and Argentina already exist and that it was his hope to strengthen these ties still further. Dr. Manguel later proceeded to a hotel in Herzlia, about ten miles north of Tel Aviv, where he will reside temporarily.
