All non-Catholic religious communities in Argentina were ordered today to submit to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Cults, within four moths, data concerning the date of their establishment, personal information regarding their religious and lay officials and the location of their places of worship. An announcement released by the government said that the purpose of the registration is for “administrative and statistic aims.”

The Peronist newspaper, “Tribuna Popular,” in a front-page editorial, today urged the Argentine Government to extend recognition to the state of Israel. The Palestine policies of Great Britain were criticized by the paper.
