The Argentine Jewish Youth Federation published today in the general press a series of appeals to Soviet authorities asking better treatment for the Jews in Russia.
The statement was based on a resolution adopted at a recent youth territorial congress. It urged Soviet officials to allow Russian Jews to develop Jewish cultural and religious institutions. Soviet authorities also were asked to act energetically against anti-Semitism in the USSR and to allow Russian Jews to emigrate for reunion with members of their families living in other countries.
