Celebration of Herzl Week in Argentina concluded here last night with a mass meeting at Luna Park attended by more than 10,000 persons. Speakers who eulogized the late founder of the Zionist movement, whose remains were reinterred in Jerusalem last week, included Israeli Minister to Argentina Yaacov Tzur and Moises Toff, head of the Latine-American department of the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
The local offices of the Jewish National Fund issued a special appeal during the observance of Herzl Week for the collection of 500,000 pesos–approximately $125,000–for the proposed Herzl Cedar Park in Jerusalem.
