Emphasizing their keen desire to participate in the task of rescuing Jews from Europe, the Council of Jewish Aid to War Victims in Buenos Aires has forwarded $15,000 to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, it was announced here today. This contribution follows upon the heels of an earlier contribution also of $15,000, recently announced. The total of $30,000 has been earmarked for the J.D.C.’s program of rescue from the Balkans to Palestine, via Turkey.
